Andrew W. Loomis  is a fine artist from the Pacific Northwest, best known for watercolors, acrylic paintings and mixed media assemblages. Born in Yakima, Washington, in 1973, Andrew developed a passion for drawing at an early age, which led him to study painting and print making at the Art College at Washington State University, in Pullman, Washington. After completing college, Andrew worked as a Patina Craftsman in the fine art foundries in the Portland, Oregon area, where he worked with local artists and craftspersons. At the same time, he exhibited his paintings and prints across the western United States. His style incorporates both realism and abstraction as well as the use of rich colors and bold lines. Andrew lives and works in Sisters, Oregon where he resides with his wife, Sandra.
