LIFE DRAWING WORKSHOP

Schedule for late July and August coming soon

INTERESTED? BE SURE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER SO YOU DON’T MISS OUT

Our Life Drawing Workshop in Sisters is back.

This “free-style” workshop gives you a place to explore the wonders of understanding the natural human form in art. We start with a series of shorter poses and work towards longer, more sustained poses. Play with gesture, light and shadow in any style that you prefer. From a quick swoop of a curved spine to a more detailed expression, you are free to interpret as you please. Beginners can be in a comfortable environment to try their hand at life drawing, while more advanced artists can continue improving their skills and artistic perspectives. Whatever your goal is, this is a totally “non-judgement” zone.

There is no formal instruction in this workshop. We recommend that real “newbies” to life drawing arrive 15 minutes early to get a short briefing with basic tips from Sloane Earl and assistance with set up.

Bring your own supplies: sketch pad, portable easel if you prefer using one, your choice of medium (pencil, charcoal, pastels); no paints for this event please.

Non-alcoholic beverage will be available; you are welcome to bring your own refreshment

Only Rules:

  • Be respectful of the model and your fellow participants.

  • You must be over 18 years of age.

  • Come ready to unwind and enjoy the creative groove
