Living Water

  • Title: "Living Water
  • The Five-fold ministry lets the Light of God's Promise shine through them as they minister from the living water of God. Standing in the river and in the rays of the rainbow that both flow from the Mount of God. As the water cascades down it brings with it the promise. The people playing in the flow of the Holy Spirit are happy, filled with joy. Some have come to the 'river' of the Holy Spirit to drink but they have 'containers'. Each one seeking to 'contain' the amount of the Holy Spirit they will use. Some have sat and watched as others jumped in. One person is angry, one sits and considers the joyful ones as she drinks. Another looks back in shock as she diligently attempts to climb her own way up to the Mount of the Lord. As they attempt to climb higher without the Holy Spirit they faint or die. Some people attempt to prevent others from observing those experiencing the joy and freedom of the water. This piece is a prophetic look at the latter day church.
  • This painting has quite a few interesting stories associated with it. We will recount a few here for you.
    • During the creation of the piece, the artist was moved to do it during a revival and within a 20 hour period. This is a very large painting 4' by 5'. The artist kept receiving images to add and the painting basically evolved over that 20 hour period. When finished the painting was taken to the revival where it was shared with the people at the time the Lord indicated.
    • To the amazement of the artist, the pastor walked forward with a piece of paper in his trembling hand. He ran his hand through his hair and stared at the painting. He explained the Lord had given him this vision the night before...

    • The vision matched the painting perfectly and explained many things the Lord had shown him! He held the piece of paper out and sure enough, people passed it around awed by what the Lord had spoken.
    • Several months after hanging in a church, one of the worship team members contacted the artist and commented how amazing it was that word was in the waterfall. The artist had no idea what the young woman was talking about. She told the artist to look carefully at the waterfall for there was a word hidden within it.
    • "FAITH"
    • To the artist's amazement, sure enough... THERE it was. The artist did not consciously place it there, she didn't even know it WAS there until someone else saw it!
  • By a series of strange events the painting has returned to the artist but she awaits the Lord's direction for where it will go next and what the next mission will be.
