The ancient Hebrew shepherds were faced with a dilemna when they had a rebellious lamb. The lamb would wander away from the flock on repeated occasions. This put the small lamb in great danger. Because the shepherd was in charge of the lambs and all the lambs were important, he would break the legs of the rebellious lamb and carry it about his neck. This meant the lamb HAD to rely on the shepherd for EVERYTHING. The lamb learned the shepherds voice well and when the legs were healed, the lamb now was hopefully dependant upon the shepherd. How sad but true, sometimes we are just like that rebellious lamb in our walk with Jesus, the Christ!
Title: 'THE BRIDE IN CHAINS'
Media: Acrylic on Canvas
Original Size: 36" x 24"
Price of Original: $500.00
One of the most provocative pieces to date. Many denominations are guilty of placing the chains of 'religiousity and law' upon its membership. However, the Holy Bible says, '...whom Christ sets free is free indeed!' The artist feels the Body of Christ must remember something, Jesus does NOT want his Bride to be a VICTIM! If she is being chained, she must not remain so, or she has failed to heed His words. '...no one can separate us from the love of God.' No one, except ourselves...
Title: "THROUGH WHOSE EYES?"
This piece is food for thought. Through whose eyes do we see ourselves? Do we allow the enemy to tell us what we are like? Do we listen? Unfortunately, most of the time that is EXACTLY who we allow to give us our self-image. Jesus wants very much to change all of that. He sees us in a much different way than we see ourselves, because HE loved us enough to shed HIS blood for us!

Title: "STAR GATE"
This unicorn appears to 'step through' space. We are reminded of Psalm 22:21, '...for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.' Could unicorns be God's version of Echelon??
Interesting Fact
There are eight references in the King James Version of the Bible to the 'unicorn'. In the original Hebrew text it appears to be a reference to the 'one horn'. For further information we invite you to peruse the Biblical Unicorn exhibit contained in the Inspirational Page.

"We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that...'except the Lord build the House, they labor in vain that build it.' I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel."
