GRANDSIRE

The Ancestral Herd Stallion, also direct line of the travellers. So called because of their journey through time and space to arrive at Enkar.

N'EDAR

Prince of the Line and direct decendant of the Herd Stallion. Bondmate to Lehloni Snowwolf and only survivor of the Disaster at Thunder Rider Camp. N'edar fought bravely against this last invasion of the Black Mages even though he was only a three year old. He has gained great respect among the Ancestral Herd for his wisdom and bravery.

N'ITIRI

Chosen lifemate of Prince N'edar on his first return visit to the Ancestral Herd. She followed him after he left and was placed under protection by the Silkwood Elves while Prince N'edar and his fellow adventurers went against the dreaded Black Mages Tower of Xitus. N'itiri has given birth to twins that are going to bond soon. *Note: these colts are bonded already.

N'EHAARITHH

Chronicler for the Unicorns History. A close friend of the Ancestral Herd Stallion.

CAGIN

The half-human, half-elf; Cagin is taller than most elves with haunting midnight blue eyes and black hair. His rich, dark blue robes hide a well-formed, muscular body. Streaks of silver are here and there through his hair. A man of controlled, quiet strength, he is a seeker after truth and feels that it lies beyond what he has learned from the Elves. He used to be a channeler of the 'Power' until he came across the truth told to him by his beloved Lehloni. He now believes there is a higher power and seeks to learn more about this creator of the universe both Lehloni and N'edar have spoken of.

RASMUTH

Leader of the Elven Council of Silkwood Forest.

CENTURIA

Leading Artist of the Silkwood Elves. (Had a crush on Cagin for many years.) She was not pleased that he became involved with the notorious 'Marked Woman and her Bonded Prince' legend. Although she did not like it she said nothing. Below is one of her sketches of a youthful Cagin.

Elven Chronicler for the Silkwood Elves.

LEHLONI SNOWWOLF

Only daughter of Bajor Snowwolf, Weapons Master for the Thunder Rider Camp. Bonded to Prince N'edar. Chosen mate of Cagin of the Silkwood Forest Elves. Only known survivor of the Thunder Rider Camp. Was marked with the brand of the Broken Lance which marks exiled murderers. This was done through the deception of a Black Mage, but has caused both her and her bondmate, N'edar to be persecuted by all other human plainsmen.

KOLANDER NIGHTHAWK

Plainsman from the Black Bear Camp. A member of the heroes of Enkar, which fought against the latest threat of the Black Mages.

MOKTA WHITEOWL

Leader of the Buffalo Camp. Plains tribe located on the southern part of the plains. Was good friends with Bajor Snowwolf and refused to obey tribal custom and shun Lehloni.

CALANTRIUS

Noble Knight of the Order of the Hawk. Rescued the Northrmorphs from extinction by leading them to safety in the Silkwood Forest. Was put into a suspended sleep for fifty years. Only recently awakened to take up the fight against the Black Mages.

TRUANA NEOTEE

Friend of Lehloni Snowwolf, this raven-haired beauty of legend was the one foretold to awaken the sleeping Calantrius. They are now married in a ceremony performed in the Silkwood Forest. Trapped for fifty some years in the guise of a crow by a Black Mage, she was originally from the lands to the east of the mountains.

CANTOR AND DALMAR

The couple that run the inn at Innis. Well known and loved for their culinary talents and kind ways.

SHERIDON, THE WICKED

Evil Black Mage, obsessed with crushing the humans living on Enkar and discovering the secret of eternal life from the blood of the Morphans. He conducted hideous experiments on the Morphan.

THERSA

Daughter of Sheridon the Wicked, she attempts to work her poison through the warp doors located at various spots around the surface of Enkar. As deadly as her father, she is a terrible enemy and has suffered defeat at the hands of Cagin and Lehloni once. This left her beautifully flawless face marred and her hand crippled. She will be filled with the desire for revenge.

ENKIRA CLOVER

Morphan daughter of Nelly Nightshade and Chinock Clover. Traveled with Calantrius to Silkwood for safety. Joined Cagin on his quest to warn the Plains Tribes of the impending danger of the Black Mages and ended up with Lehloni and N'edar by a freak accident (Vortex Winds). She has been there for many historical events in the history of Enkar.

DARIANNE

Morphan that took the care of N'itiri upon herself with great joy, while the heroes of Enkar went on to reclaim the Tower of Xitus from the clutches of the Black Mages.

TANDY

Morphan that was tortured beyond recognition by Sheridon the Wicked. Maimed and emotionally injured, she found refuge with the gentle and kind Lynara and her son, Cagin. Tandy helped to raise Cagin. Tandy jumped into the space warp 'window' to save Lehloni and Cagin. Her fate is not known at this time, but she is presumed dead.

REVERED MOTHER

The 'generation mother' of the Morphan. Once every one hundred years, one Morphan will seem to stand out and gain experience and wisdom enough to be considered one to go to for guidance, these are called Revered Mother. Since Morphan are extrememly child-like in nature, even those several hundred years old, this is very unusual. Only a Revered Mother will ever display behavior of a more, mature and wise personage. Therefore they are held in extremely high esteem.
